Trade Deadline

With the 2013 NHL season set to begin sometime in the next week or so, what day do you think that they will set the trade deadline for this year.

1995 trade deadline was April 7th and the season ended May 3rd.

Usually happens on a Monday or Tuesday, but with the small schedule I would think somewhere around April 8th.

April 5th regardless of when the games actually start is what I heard.

the NBA schedule follows the NHLs pretty closely - they started on Christmas day last year and had the deadline in mid march. so an early april deadline for the NHL seems to be pretty likely.
