People keep telling me that I will love Brendan Sutter. I already do, so whatever.

Hard to tell with this format. Should be able to get a better idea after Saturday and Sunday. Good test for the defense in those first two games.

I'd like to see Tangradi traded for Bennet during the second intermission, see what would happen.

I don't think that goal would have stood, interference with the goalie.

I was curious that he was one of the few forwards called up from WBS for the short camp' Bennett.Tangradi and Megna I believe. The other 2 I understood but I wasn't sure if he'd impressed people at WBS or what he story was.

Looks like he has an NHL caliber shot. All this defensive depth and I'm more impressed by some of our offensive prospects. Go figure.

Lot better than playing the Violent Femmes" "Big Hands" one zillion times as was the case before.

Did I just hear "two hand slash on Malkin"? Can somebody knock old man Adams out for me?

Maybe it's easier for forwards to impress.

As soon as Steigy mentions he is impressed by someone I put that guy on my "skeptical of player" list and watch him more closely.
I did notice some physicality from Tangadi which I believe is what is needed for him to a a regular top 6. He has to learn that he;s 6'3",220+ not 5'9" 160 lbs. He doesn't have the other attributes to be a huge finesse player. Per some reports he seems to have at least tolerated big boy play at WBS this season.

As far as I am concerned, Tangradi doesn't have to score or set up goals. He just has to do all those other things that useful hockey players do.

Dejan Kovacevic ‏@Dejan_Kovacevic
Malkin cuts into slot on staged two-man advantage and fires writer past Fleury.

Maybe he can write a poem about it.
