That was a clean hit and much cleaner than that win.
But sloppiness is to be expected right now.

2-0, against Flyers and Rangers. Can't ask for a better start than that.

Is game 2 too soon to request Beau Bennett be recalled to play with Malkin/Neal? Tangradi is just invisible out there, and not in a good way. The guy just doesn't seem to have the offensive instincts to play at the NHL level. Tired of getting excited about him winning a battle along the boards here and there. The guy has yet to show me a dominate shift in the NHL. These so called "flashes" are seldom and nothing special at this point.

On another note, YAY, 2-0 start!!!!

Yeah he is meh. But I think the Pens could trot out a yellow cone with Malkin-Neal and the line will still be effective lol.

I'm not saying Tangradi looks good out there, but what happens if Bennett takes more than 2 games to adjust to being a top-six forward in the NHL? Do we go back to Tangradi or call up Veilleux?

If Tangradi's performance stays as is, it's going to be painfully awkward to see people say that he's "looking fine" and "just needs more of a chance."

he looks like a beer league player out there.

I'm not ready to judge anyone after two games. Hell Crosby has been a bum so far. Just give these guys some games to get something going. It's not like they are losing games for us or being a liability.

I'd try Jeffrey before calling up Bennett. Couldn't be worse than #25.

They've also got a full roster (13F + 8D + 2G) which means they'd have to basically hand Tangradi or Jeffrey over on waivers (neither would clear) to make room for a call up.
