Thread size? I'd have agreed if you had said "head size"...
He was "being made fun of" (appropriately)... for calling a four page thread "wildly popular". The size of the thread, apart from Sloppy's characterization, is irrelevant.

Back when I worked for BB&B, I was pulling merchandise out of the stock room for a clearance event, and I came across a set of 1000 thread count sheets eligible for further mark downs. After changing the price, and using my employee discount, the final cost ended up being like $22 for the set. I almost felt bad about buying them.

Indeed it was. I think the set originally sold for like $280.
