I CALL IT THE SHUTOUT STREAK BECAUSE THEY KEEP OUT THE REAL FANS OUT BY DRIVING UP THE PRICES OF PEOPLE WHO CAN PAY IT AND THEN GIVE AWAY CHEAP TICKETS TO LESS DESERVING COLLEGE STUDENTS. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE TICKETS ARE CORPORATE SELLOUTS AND COLLEGE HACKS.

Give Bylsma credit for making line changes. Even though it should have happened a couple games ago.

Now, we'll see how long he actually sticks with them.

I don't mind them and will be interested to see what happens, but how long will the new lines last? Knowing HCDB, they won't last long especially if the Ducks score first.

I somehow missed this before but I couldn't stop laughing at this, the best part was about Mario in goal. *Warning about some subtitles that are cuss words*

That's the thing (for me anyhow). I have no issues if they go another direction. I didn't 2 years ago and to an extent this past offseason. I just don't know what's out there that I trust. Doesn't mean there isn't, I'm not paid to know that stuff.

I'll continue to root for the logo on the sweater and the city it represents. I don't care if Rico Fata is the head coach.

I root for the penguins to win, whulich is why i think fata would be just as good as bylsma. Better in fact because of the jumpstart the team would get from a coachin change.

Thats mostly a joke but there is already a replacement in place.

Huh? Is this the official start of "it's Byslma's fault when the lose, Martin's credit when they win" era? I thought it would take until the playoffs.

Huh? Is correct. What did my post have to do with assigning credit or blame for the win/loss?

When you see the same problems that existed before Martin arrived, one would believe that's on Bylsma.

When you see new adjustments, such as in the defensive zone, one would believe it's a product of Martin.

Will anyone ever know for sure? Nope, but a lack of adjustments, stubborness, etc, that's all on Bylsma, just like it has been for the past 4 years.

Even if it is a lack of execution, it seems the same issues keep coming up.

Blame the players all you want, but the failure to hold the players accountable for their screw ups falls on the coach. JMO though

Hey, let's face it. Disco and several high-dollar skaters are above the law here in Steel Town. We can (and have been talking) talk about this 'til the cows come home. But at the end of the day, he ramains. The club flops around for a bit then comes together with an outstanding performance (like last night for example) and folks have a tendency to forget the disasterous ones. Don't know if there is dissention/animosity among the troops or what.( BTW-that's the crap that's prevalent in the NBA, MLB, NFL, etc. The NHL is supposed to be different. Better. Higher Class. Live by a 'code' that other professional athletes couldn't fathom.) Forgive me for rambling. If HCDB must go, who's gonna send him on his way? GMRS?! Mr. Lemieux?! When? As long as the outfit continues to make $$ you're probably not going to see change. However, if/when the profits begin to diminish, Katie bar the door! My opinion only of course. And, if' Leadership 101' taught me anything, it was this-end any instruction on a positive note. So, here goes. Last night I watched my favorite bunch of underachievers (no, I'm not mad) play 60 (well at least 58) minutes of hockey! Reckon those boys really can play hockey if they really want to. All it takes is for everybody to do their job. What a novel concept. Am I mad? Nope. Thanks for listening.

If you get Jack Nicholson and/or Sam Elliott to record that post, I will pay a pretty penny for the audio.
