And the next guy in line for the Malkin-Neal line is:
Joe Vitale?
I know, I know, hes a center and no one has even mentioned him as an option; but it seems to me like he is playing very well. His stats aren't there, sure, but hes been on the 4th line and seems slightly possessed with the puck right now. Hes making good decisions and seems like a miniature Malkin puck handler.
Vitale is the opposite of Kennedy too. He is decent with the puck and when he does shoot, its hard and on net. I'm tired of seeing terrible kennedy shoot and miss/ take low percentage shots/ make bad passes (or none at all)/ or be stripped of the puck. Hes fast and shoots a lot, hardly justify's him as a top 6. The 2nd line needs a grinder that wont cough up the puck.
We have the depth with all our centers healthy, so why not give him a shot?

(I'd still prefer to give BB a shot with crosby and move kunitz down, but that's not going to happen)
