They had a teaser last game for Stan Potash going to a Penguins bar in Philadelphia, does anyone know what it was? Thanks.

If you asked a Flyers fan, I assume they would say Woody's.

On a more serious note: I caught some Pens and Steelers games at this place and they didn't grumble too much about switching over one of the TVs. I always made sure that the Flyers or Eagles were not playing that day, of course:

Either way, they have very good bar food.

Why is this in test? I'd be interested in the answer to.

Its the Fox and Hound at 15th and Spruce Street in Center City. It has a good amount of Pittsburgh people there for Steelers and Pens games. I wouldn't call it a Pens bar, but you will definitely see Pens jerseys there, particularly for big/playoff games.

I live in Center City Philly as well. Fox and Hound isn't that great in general, and I'd agree with the prior sentiment that it's not exactly a "Penguins" bar.

That and I didn't want to make a thread on a main board that might be only about me...so I just kind of put it off to the side...
It was Fox & Hound? I've been there before...it's not a Penguins bar (at least from what I've seen) and it sucks noodles...that's disappointing...

Yeah I recorded that and I was kind of disappointed once I saw it. Fox & Hound is Def. not a Penguins bar. Just a place where people go to watch sports.
Might as well keep going east into southern NJ and come to my basement. I have a decent Pens theme and bar down there! lol

Right on, shmenguin...I'll check it out, thanks!
And yeah, I mean, there's a McDonald's in Feasterville that's more of a Penguins bar than that place...it has a Mario Lemieux jersey in it at least...rather watch the back some dude's head at Buffalo Wild Wings than watch a Pens game at F&H I think...but it's been a while since I've been there, so I'll give it another look...maybe on a Tuesday because they have specials then...will report back findings when work clears up...

OMG, this. Or say, I'm sure you'll find something else in Society Hill.
(The interestingly named Queen Village is pretty residential and establishments are mostly bistros.)

I remember going to McGillin's Olde Ale House every day during the 1997 SCF obnoxiously cheering--like it was my night job--for the Red Wings.
I'm still alive to tell the this cool story to the bros here.
