Why insult girls?

Tired of seeing it - this team is way too careless

I'd argue that was more a result of effort by Cizikas than a poor play by Martin.

I'd agree and also blame Fleury and Orpik before Martin

Weak, careless effort. It's his first NHL goal. They keep playing fast and loose with puck and it ends up in the back of the net. No excuse for that period.

If the second follows this season's form this could get ugly.

The milk's gone bad...everything is set up high in the offensive zone, why? Why do you want to be there? ES, power play, all the time, we just want to be there...60 feet from the net...why? That's a sucky place to set up a play...especially because we have these swarming, worker bee type forwards...put it down low, then you work it out high if you want, but start low at least...Kunitz, Crosby, Neal, Dupuis, Kennedy, Cooke, Sutter, Glass, Adams, these are all good board players...

The team is playing a 1-4 sometimes and you want to set up at the "4"...? What are you kidding me? Neutral zone defenses aren't effective when the puck is behind them...start simple at least...

:thumb:

What the Pens were trying in the first just defies belief to me. They have also shown a tendency this year to try and run everything from just inside the blueline and even some of the forwards like Neal have started playing way too high in the zone too.

Buckle up, cause I highly doubt anyone is getting fired in a 48 game season.

I dont get all the hate on the goal. That was a hell of a forecheck the Isles put on there, not some willy nilly pass through the slot to the tape of a sniper. Sure, MAF made a mistake, he tried to make a play but anticipated/guessed wrong and couldnt recover. That happens sometimes.

At the end of the day we're down by 1 goal to the Islanders with 40 minutes left.

You didn't. But Strait playing a lot and well for the Isles is good for him and inconsequential for the Pens if Bylsma won't actually play the 4 guys he rated higher more than 10 minutes a game.

Outside of Crosby, Malkin, and Neal, the forwards are bunch of stiffs. Somehow, a roster that was top-heavy last season managed to get even more top-heavy this year.

Did I see Dustin Jeffrey, a healthy scratch for the past 4 games skating on a line with the reigning MVP?

Which is less of a problem when the top isn't trying to look like the bottom.
