Vokoun seemed a bit more scrambly today than he usually is, but the job gets done once again.

How awesome is it having Fleury and Vokoun to handle goaltending duties? Good balance to the goalie schedule, and it's nice to know there's a very reliable #2 in Vokoun come crunch time.

For sure, eh? It's great having the goalie tandem that we do.

I agree that Vokoun looked kind of edgy today, could be playing in his old bldg., maybe not. It was a good game, and he still came up with some big saves on some good scoring chances.

Pens now 6-0 against teams that made playoffs last year. 0-3 against teams that didn't.

First two periods were pretty good by the Penguins limiting Washington 13 shots on goal and 2 weird goals. The third period was a train wreck with the turnovers, some bad decisions moving the puck up the ice with a 3 goal lead and it burned them for one goal against.

Great weekend for Kunitz to step up his game and start producing, though timing might be more related to Crosby flying all over the ice.

Vokoun is a cool, calm influence for this team.
