I found that strange ever since he had to split with Staal. Was always a fan of one forward with an A, One D-man with an A, and the C to whoever.

Two great plays for Boychuk on that shift. Patience to hold then hit Bortuzzo on the rush. Then that little pick off the boards on the next breakout was a seriously difficult play when in traffic. Dude can play, that's for sure. And he isn't intimidated playing with Malkin like some other guys... *cough Tangradi cough*
