This is the first game that I've watched since the Ottawa game last Sunday and this team looked so much different than the first 5 games of the year -- better passes ('cept for Geno and his blind passes again), better puckhandling, and better defense. Really good win tonight.

It was nice to see Sutter get a goal, but I'm not going to get too worked up over his scoring totals.
Just not realistic to expect Staal-level numbers out of him. He's a completely solid 3rd center, which is enough.

I love this form of penguins hockey. Emphasize the forward staying back and helping the D. Adjusting the breakout for what the opponent is doing and just feeding off the other teams mistakes.

Good win. Good have done without some of the bad penalties and that 30 second lapse in defense, but otherwise pretty close to a solid effort. The Isles are going to be competing for a playoff spot this year. They have a lot of skill and speed.

WIN WIN WIN yet again. Great road performance against the Isles who humiliated them a week or so ago and have seemingly woke the team and coaching staff up. Nothing but thumb's up from me.
