You have to get Martin off the PP, he's not a threat in any way at all. He's weak on the board battles, has no shot, doesn't pass well and thread the needle, and has horrible foot speed if he misplays a puck.
I just think Despres is a much better option for the first unit.

The league needs to watch how the Devils run a PK against the Pens. So assertive.

Agreed but dont say that too loudly. Many on this board are huge fans of his. I just don't see it.

Oh good, Jeffrey got some PP time at the end of that period.

Stay thirsty, my friend.
I heard for their next commercial - one of the items for "most interesting man" is that he has 30,000 LGP posts - only counting GDTs.

Nah. He would've still been at the blue-line because he wouldn't have been able to keep up.

Opportunistic Devils. Horrible pinch by Engelland.
Moose came through with big saves early in the game and settled his team down.
Devils are still annoying to play against...

Bortuzzo played it right. Take away the passing option (Elias) so Vokoun can play the shooter (Clarkson).
Nahhh. He let him take the line and the zone without hesitation and it wasn't a 2-on-1 at that point. He just backed in too much.
I'm pretty sure it was a 2 on 1 at that point, heck I think it was a 2 on 1 since their blue line.
Definitely 2 on 1 because Engo was trailing. If Bortuzzo tries to stand him up at the line he makes a pass and its a break-away. Always take the pass away. The goalie has to make the save on the 1st shot.

He's gonna get paid. 30 goals last year, will get more chances without Parise.

"He once ran a marathon....because it was on his way"
Dos Equis probably the best commercials on TV IMO....

By the time Tangradi got to the net, the Devils would have been exiting the zone though.

The D will gap up as the play comes in because the angle of the attack will come toward them.

Pens look really disorganized. It's probably Jeffrey's fault, for dressing. And Tangradi's, for having been born... today.
