I know, right? But I'm all for it in defense of Matt Cooke.

Bagged milk is standard on naval ships. Had the freshest, coldest, most delicious milk of my life on a Coast Guard cutter

Did you at least put it in a separate container first?

Doesn't sound like this is going away any time soon

Erin Nicks ‏@erinnicks

"He missed the hit and still got me somehow. I think the situation could have been prevented. I don't think it would have ...."

" ... happened if it was another type of player. But I don't think his intention was to cut me with the skate. I refuse to believe that."

Karlsson: "I stand behind (Eugene Melnyk) and his comments." #Sens

Erik says he will probably wear the Kevlar socks when he returns. #Sens

Karlsson can take off his cast - has slept without it - but can't bear weight. "My foot just hangs there." #Sens

Karlsson did not reply to Cooke's text. "I didn't think much of it. I didn't have much to say to him." #Sens

Wayne Scanlan ‏@HockeyScanner

Karlsson on Cooke: "he's been after me before." #Sens

Ian Mendes ‏@ian_mendes

Karlsson does not think Cooke intentionally tried to cut his achilles. But he believes that this wouldn't have happened with another player.

Karlsson on Cooke: "He knows exactly what he's doing out there. And that's why I'm sitting here in a cast."

Karlsson has not responded to Matt Cooke's text. "We have nothing to say to each other."

Awesome. Another idiot crybaby I can actively root against. Comments like that from star players hurt the game. And honestly, shame on the NHL and the national hockey media for not praising Cooke's turn around more last year. He should be Shanahan's poster boy
