I'm not sure that Morrow and a 1st is the answer either, but it would take more than that package to pry him away I'd think because you need to convince a team to trade one of it's better forwards...I doubt they're shopping him. I was wrong in my initial evaluation, my dislike of Wheeler clouded my judgment...
Thank you I feel somewhat vindicated

Where does Wheeler fit into the Kessel-JVR continuum these days?

He could disappear from the league and I'm not sure anyone would notice, aside from 30-35 fewer goals scored over the course of 1000+ games.

Probably the largest fan base in the league thinks he is an elite scorer not that its worth much because you know, they're leafs fans

I think JVR is better than Kessel. Flyers screwed up on that one (Just like Bob in Columbus)

If that's what it takes to acquire Wheeler, I hope he likes Winnipeg.

He's the ultimate UFA, he wouldn't play somewhere he didn't want to. Actually I hope he went to Atlanta for the warm winter and then got stuck in Winnepeg for 2 years and hates it. Clown.

They are trying to cover up the fact that Brian Burke traded for him and Boston got a Stanley Cup since then
