I know next year a lot of codes are going to be gps (ice time, etc). Its nice getting shirts and hats but to win anything special you might as well forget about it. For awhile, I considered not even doing it.
So? Don't you think the season ticket holders should be the ones who win these? They are shelling out thousands of dollars for it...
Season ticket holders for anything are the most loyal of fans since they're the ones committed to coming to the games year after year. Of course the program is going to favor these fans. Of course, if you're going to the games, you're not likely hanging out at the bar with Miller Lite Girls to collect the same 25 points for the game.
As for living outside of Pittsburgh, there are still ways to get points. Of course, I would never expect a big prize for a fan loyalty program that awards you for attending games and local events. You're lucky you're able to use IceTime, Trib, Radio, ROOT Sports and other codes that aren't gps-dependent.
STH arent more loyal than me, most leave at 2nd intermission anyways

Agreed, and let's be honest here ... PensPoints is becoming more of a marketing tool than an actual fan loyalty program. No idea how test driving a Toyota or demoing a Verizon phone makes me a more loyal Pens fan.
PAPLine wrote:From what I see, the marketing is almost a joke. I went into Verizon and the guy handed me a points card. I had to practically plead with him to show me the game center app.

How are the Toyota dealerships other than the one review that someone left, I want to go there to get points but was still unsure. Anyone tell them why your there and are they cool about it??

How many points do you need? Wondering what I need.

What about at the pens gear in the south side?
