Really hope we get towels at the entrance as, with traffic like this, I doubt we'll get there before puck drop!

I think the first game we went to, Pens Points had just begun, and I remember being bummed when the code in the program didn't work for me... it was too late, I was sitting at the hotel skimming through it.

My daughter really wants to know, do they give out rally towels at every game? She's going to be bummed BIG time if she doesn't get a towel... even if it means I have to buy one somewhere. Still have 3 Islanders towels stuffed in my purse. Should be good for wiping up a mess somewhere. We did notice, at the Caps game last Friday night - they give NOTHING away. It's been pretty obvious for a while that they don't care about the fans.

they give towels out at the big screen before game and the gates entering for game (fan zone and lets go pens) have cool stuff at big screen for her to see before game...have fun

I scanned the Ice time code and the ML code within about 10 minutes of each other..... Anyone think I should be worried about that?

People leaving the games - do you ever see people in TGIF? It is not the most popular restaurant..especially if you are down town...especially DURING the game. And I am not sure how many people care to go after the game when there are better places to eat if you aren't just going home after the game.

i've gone there many times after the games since it takes forever to get out of the parking lots sometimes and the place is still pretty much empty after the game i've never waited for a table.

We always use the TGIF as a meeting place after the game if the kids and I are sitting in different areas of the arena. It really doesn't seem that busy after a game. That being said... I do like their food, especially the Jack Daniels steaks....

Looking in the doors of TGIFriday, I thought they were closing! Lol, so much emptier than before the game!

I wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions. We had an awesome trip. Got our pens points stuff, but will have to make another trip up as next game I will unlock the next t-shirt, which works for me as my daughter wanted Fleury and they didn't have her size.

All in all, pens fans are awesome. And we always leave Pittsburgh on a high. Oh, and the little tune "we want the cup, gotta have the cup" from the homeless guy on 5th...

Time for my next question... The big screen... Is this something the pens will do for each home game (I assume weather permitting) for as long as the season continues? We were thinking it might actually be fun to make that our destination, and definitely MUCH cheaper! What time do people start showing up for this, and what do they bring with them?

They actually run the big screen for all playoff games, both home and away. If you want to sit close to the screen, I would recommend getting there a solid 2+ hours before game time at least. People bring chairs, food, stuff like that. Definitely a lot of fun to be there.
