Should change the title of this thread to "Tomas Vokoun Sharting in goal".

Likely didn't notice. I wouldn't mind Zatkoff seeing some action if Vokoun is feeling off, but I wouldn't want to risk putting him on waivers to go back down.

vokoun had a couple rough outings in a row. not sure there is anything more significant to read into that. i had fleury probably playing 30-35 games anyway, so we really only need another 10 or so starts from vokoun. it should be easy enough to get him back on his game, and keep him active enough to keep it up the rest of the way, and then the playoffs will start, and it hopefully won't matter who are backup is anyway.
vokoun is a pretty good goalie, despite the last 2 games. he'll be fine.

One point which no one has brought up is that Vokoun is used to being a starting goalie and getting frequent starts. I think it's a lot harder to stay sharp when you're only playing once a week or so. At the beginning of the season, when he was splitting with MAF, he was great. Is lack of playing time making him rusty?

Thats very possible, but i'm sticking with the possibility that his body is breaking down.

I think it is actualy a combo of the lack of playing time and the body breaking down, honestly. You just don't stay as sharp after 35
