The Pens can't have 1 forward (Glass), and 1 D-man (Orpik) be the teams physical presence for the whole game, when the Flyers/Devils seem to have a physical presence on every line. After a while the punishment has to wear on the Pens. Yea the Flyers scored garbage goals, but the Pens had the game in hand till the Flyers turned up the hitting.

INJURY UPDATE: #Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced Matt Read suffered torn rib cage muscles in last night's game. He will be out for 6 weeks
Heart-breaking.

4. Vokoun is still more reliable than Bryzgalov.
The Flyers won't even make the playoffs as they can't beat anyone consistently but the Pens.
Think I'm wrong? Watch them lose tonight to the ever-powerful Panthers. LOL

Bylsma, on Tyler Kennedy: "Tyler needs to be better" with blue-collar duties because "that's where his game's at when he's really good."

You always have that feeling EVERY single game for the past year or two that if we don't score at least 4 goals, we don't really stand a chance of winning. Long gone are the Penguins being able to play close 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, and 4-3 style hockey games. To me, that comes down to coaching as HCDB system resembles the Capitals style of play while under coach Ketchup/BBQ/Wing sauce Face. Anaheim is scoring 5 - 7 goals a game regularly under Boudreau and Therrien has the Habs off to a 11-4-1 start.
I've said this a few times as well. We look like the 2007-2011 Capitals that we all laughed at and made fun of for winning the regular season and getting laughed out of the playoffs.
But no, we need to acquire a scoring winger for Crosby...because scoring 5 goals a game STILL isn't enough to win for this team on occasion.
The only games that have a low Goals Against is the games that the goaltenders stand on their head or the other team forgets to show up (that 5-1 win over NJ comes to mind)
