This was from a few days ago. Didn't see it on the board anywhere, if it is I'll delete this thread.
Basically, Glass calls Briere dirty, due to previous suspensions. Letang defends Briere. Briere claims not to even know who Tanner Glass is. Maybe they played playstation together....Funny stuff.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2013/02/20/tanner-glass-danny-briere/1934099/There has not been an "outspoken" Penguin in a while, so Glass may have some interesting things to say in the months ahead. Wonder if Glass will have been talked to because it does potentially put other teammates in situations like Letang was in.

Yeah, I was meaning to post this...but figured it had already been posted somewhere else. I guess we're too busy firing Bylsma and waiving Boychuk.

Briere always a little bit of an edge for a Keebler elf.

I found the Glass comments more surprising than anything else. I think Briere has a dirty streak for sure, it was just kind of a random slam from Glass.

ON the edges of my brain, but i think jan hrdina fought briere when he was a coyote.
Oh yes, T Glass had some quotes about why the pens lose at home.
"We have to get the crowd into it early," Glass said.
"It seems to be pretty quiet in there most nights, so I think we have to do a better job of having good starts and getting the crowd into it early and then having them sustain that energy for us."

i remember briefly hearing about this (during the telecast maybe?), but never saw any more info.
the more you turn these games into grudge matches, the better chance the flyers have at winning. glass needs to remember this next time.

Glass spent at last season in Winnipeg where they have crazy loud building/fans. Tough to compare anywhere to that.
I agree, I'd rather he clamp his trap about other players, just adds fuel to the fire.

Glass obviously has never been to the CEC if he thinks it is quiet. Ignorance.
