yeah before everyone obsesses with concussions, remember when Letang got his head absolutely taken off? Yeah he was out some time, but that hit looked 20X worse than Stekals hit. You just dont know from player to player. And even then Letang didnt miss THAT much time, and it was his 2nd of the year. For all we know it could be a back injury.

Still used today, also used is one by a Dr. Cantu. Look him up if you don't know who he is.

All we need now is the Malkin skates thread and we'll see him in 2015.

I like Jeffrey a lot. He puts up points whenever he gets ice time. Before the season I thought he'd end up eventually being the guy on Malkins line. Unfortunately for him he only got to play one game and the next day or Boychuk got picked up and took his spot. I thought he played pretty well that game too. He isn't the most physical guy in the world or the best skater, but he puts the puck in the net and at the end of the day that's what matters.

He scored 7 goals and 12 points in 25 games the year Crosby and Malkin were out. Last year he was obviously still injured and still scored 4 goals in 26 games with very limited ice time. His career shooting percentage is 13.5%. He has an above average shot. Last year was the only year he's been a negative player. Offensively, he's at least as good as Kennedy, Cooke, and Sutter. I don't understand why he doesn't get more playing time. It's not as annoying now that Bennett is the guy playing over him, because he's not playing badly and I know he'll improve. You can see him getting better. It was annoying when Tangradi was though because he didn't do anything.

This. I hope they give him a little more ice time in the next couple games.

I look forward to the Pens trotting out Malkin every couple weeks to give the fans and players hope that he might return this season.

Pure speculation here. For all we know he got whiplash, felt sore, decided to take the rest of the game off, and will be fine in 48 hours.
