it's not the best gauge, but kennedy is often spoken highly of by other broadcasting crews during games. there's at least a little value there. but yeah, he's only an accessory in a meaningful trade (well, that is until we trade his RFA rights for a 6th round pick in a few months - but i guess that's not "meaningful").
but i don't know who would be else would be part of that trade package. it's not time to deal any of our prospects and all of our roster players either have no trade value or are contributors who should be kept. that's what makes all the trade talk a little frustrating these days. we are waaaaay under equipped to be players in that area this year.

I'd deal Kennedy and one of our prospects if it got me the type of physical, defense first Dman we need + an aggressive physical presence on the third line. I think that would drastically alter how I felt about this team.
