No worries, there's this guy wearing #87 that looks like he might be an okay player.

Don't worry, his
concussion upper-body injury should clear up before the playoffs. Maybe.

Can't wait for Brashear to come out of retirement.

Hopefully Geno gets back soon. Am concerned about how injury prone he has become. Is he really worth the contract that he is about to get from the Pens if signs? Geno is a hoot and an elite player but not sold on forking out all that cabbage when of late injuries are taking him out of our lineup. We could use that money to get solid wingers n defense. I hate the thought but business is business. We proved the last few games without Geno in the lineup against some top NHL teams that we can get the job done. Just my thought on giving Geno the Big bucks. Now if he takes less then its a non issue.

Shouldn't we trade Crosby and Letang as well while we're at it? They appear to be injury prone, too.

Think of the return we could get if we package all three together!

The Dallas Stars, a small Latin American country and a pick.

I'm more concerned with the fact that when Sid is in the lineup, Geno is a mopey point-per-game player who struggles to score goals. Why he dominates the league in Sid's absence is beyond me.

Any time a Euro/Russian player is not playing up to expectations, the answer is always personality-driven ("enigmatic euro syndrome"). Don Cherry 101.

It's so lame when people fall back on the OMG he's Russian so when he isn't playing his best he must be dogging it, or he doesn't care.
Just super annoying.

I thought he was playing some of his best hockey in the few games between injuries. And not just because he scored THAT goal against Tampa.
He looked like the two-way threat he is and had few, if any, empty shifts. Stating the obvious, but Beau-ner had a lot to do with it.

Dave Molinari @MolinariPG
Malkin on ice for Penguins' game-day skate. Letang and Cooke aren't.

Jeffrey, not Malkin, skating between Neal and Bennett during line rushes at game-day skate.

I was expecting Malkin to be back tonight, but not if Jeffrey is doing the line rushes.
