They confirmed that he had a concussion. They also said that Malkin is feeling fine and that his only symptom was short-term memory loss, while Rossi was reporting that he had severe headaches.

If we're talking about after the initial "hurt" goes away, Pens could be spot on that there weren't any headaches or disorientation that went with what is now being ruled a concussion.
Both sides, in a way, aren't lying depending on what angle you take it from.
I believe 100% that Malkin had a headache and was disoriented that same night. If he woke up Saturday/Sunday and didn't have then what the Pens said is right also.
With all that being said, who cares? Malkin will be back when he is back and it doesn't matter who says what when where or why.
