Do you think the Letang situation will mimic Jordan Staal's? He can offer him an extension this offseason right? If letang declines the contract the penguins are willing to pay, he can move him around draft day.

He doesn't need to have a brother somewhere, he could get the penguins' best offer, and instead try to test the open market. I doubt they will want to get into a bidding war for letang, so I think they would instead try and get some assets for him in exchange.

The thing about Letang is that he eats TONS of minutes.
That would be hard to replace in a trade. I just can't see anyway the Pens don't sign him.
