Nothing, he did nothing like usual. Add in stupid penalties lately and he's a burden on the team.

He breathed in the buttgas that was his once-again WCHL-caliber play. Maybe next game he's good. Now, he blows like Santa Ana winds.

He was benched first ten minutes of the 3rd, came out took a penalty, don't think we saw him again.

I find the lack of Bennett in the 2nd and 3rd disturbing and annoying. The kid should be playing more.

Yeah doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering the fact that he played a great first, had an assist, and also Tyler Kennedy was out there playing like a moron.

My opinion is that Bylsma doesn't trust or like playing young players much.

farnham16 wrote:I understand that. But your goalie is apart of the of the team as well. Vokoun should never have started tonight. Bylsma needs to answer for that and he's very lucky the Pens pulled this one out.

They showed solid heart tonight and never stopped working. I will say that.

OK but you didn't say Vokoun shouldn't have started, at least not what I read. That is the same argument as last playoffs in my eyes, because the goalie stunk - yet everyone wants to blame the coach and the D IN this game, and it is dead wrong.

You cannot coach around terrible goaltending and the team never packed it in on the road, in a tough building, against a good team, against their old coach and missing two extremely important players. Guys stepped up offensively in their elevated roles too. The rookie Dman played a Norris Trophy caliber game tonight.

This place is negative. Almost like most here want them to fail because Bylsma is still the coach.

My friend at work talked me out of getting his jersey today.

Your friend is a dummy

Niskanen won't be here long and/or he's not a particularly good player. I wouldn't get a jersey of a #5 d-man...

you can claim that vokoun got hung out to dry tonight, but that 6th goal would have been a backbreaker most nights. this team gets a ton of credit for pulling out the W after that

They'll just blame it on bad goaltending and carry on business as usual. It's what they did after the playoffs last year.

They gave a point to Montreal they should have gotten. Shortened season could be decided by a point down the stretch.
