That's worth keeping just to watch Soupcan corkscrew himself into the ice on that broken stick.

Was he really sitting the pine the last few games? Maybe he tweaked something and they were just holding him out for a few games? Dude can play.

I don't want to alarm anyone but my arm may be shot after tonight. Guess I'll just have to drink the rest of the beer in my fridge.

Montreal looked nothing like themselves tonight either, so do they have problems? Vokoun was terrible tonight. Don't wanna question the effort or the resilience. They were missing a top 2 D and a generational talent at center. They played the top team in the East that was on a big roll in a tough building.

How can you not be happy with this win?

Eaton did fine. Stayed out of trouble, for the most part. 19 TOI and even +/-. Nice.

The next three games are against Tampa, Philly, and Toronto. I don't think the pond hockey is going away anytime soon. Maybe here to stay as long as they pull games like this out of their behinds and stay #2 in the conference

Letang really picked up his game, unlike Orpik he was clearing people from in front of the net, he was making good plays and he was working hard. The only real bad move was that one clear where the habs for some reason were allowed to have 6 guys on the ice but overall he played a solid game IMO. Vokoun and Orpik on the other hand is a rare combo of failure. Vokoun gets hung out to dry a lot but Jesus Christ he can't cover the posts at ALL or make a close range save if his life depended on it. Orpik caused several of the goals but with MAF in the net the game ends 6-4.
