Seating question

Postby woodman97 on Wed Mar 06, 2013 10:55 pm

I have four tickets to the 3/17 game against the Bruins. All four tickets are located in section 205, but are in different rows. I have the choice of tickets in row A or row H. My feeling is that there probably not much difference, but I figured I'd solicit thoughts on which row to choose. Thanks in advance.

A - No leaners infront of you. Got the glass thing infront of you.
H - Higher up and you can see a bit more (for 7 rows back). I sit in row L in my section and I like it higher up.

Personally, I'd go with row H. You don't have any obstruction in front of you (glass) and you have to go up/down less steps since you're closer to the concourse.

I'd like to throw something in hear about "no leaners in front of you in Row A". True dat, BUT, you can have a leaner right next to you because he/she doesn't like the glass thing in front of him/her. But I've been in row A before (after they made the plexiglass smaller) and it is no big deal as far as obstructions go...at least to me. Also, if you are at either end of Row A (seat 1 obviously and seat 20, I believe) the thingy at the bottom of the isle(s) that keeps you from doing a header into the lower bowl can be an obstruction.

Also, when I was there (in Sec 204) a couple of weeks ago, I sat in Row H and it wasn't bad at all. But that might have been because I lucked out that night and had absolutely no one directly in front of me (three seats worth) in Row G. :)

My choice, given those options, would be Row H.

If you have never sat in Row A of the upper level you might want to try it just once. I have not sat there at Consol, but I have at away games and also at Heinz Field. It is a different perspective and having nobody in front of you is nice.
