That was a ride.

Beau is a hard worker. Plays a lot more physical than I expected.

Just amazing what happens when they just go and play hockey against the Flyers. Horribly stressful game that turned out to be very enjoyable :D

What's the most bizzare event of the night? Pens come back from down 3 after playing like garbage in the first period, or Eric Tangradi scoring his first goal of the season?

Fun to see the comeback. But the dark lining in this silver cloud is they'll probably take the opposite lesson than the one they really need. They play like the skating dead for a period; no heart,no hitting, playing stupidly but managed to eke out a win.

There's a hilarious donald duck gif out there that I don't think is family board approved...I was gonna use it, but, not worth the potential infraction...

I wonder what all the wet blankets are gonna say after this one. Let's see...

--Pens outscore the Flyers 3-0 in the 2nd period, what has been their worst period of the season.
--Vokoun starts the 2nd period and stays in throughout
--Kennedy...yeah, you remember him, right?...gets the game-tying goal
--Penguins take one penalty in the final 2 periods...one that was probably as questionable as the one the Flyers got called on in the 2nd

I'm guessing DB didn't say anything to them in the 1st intermission. I guess these guys are incapable of making adjustments...BLAH BLAH FREAKIN' BLAH

To all of those who turned this game off after 1, thanks for riding the bandwagon.

It was certainly a rocky game but that's why they play 3 periods. Plenty of time to get back into things. It's not like we were down 4-1 in the middle of the 3rd period. Some of you folks are a bunch of bridge jumpers and want to place negativity on just about anything and anybody. Only one team can be the Blackhawks and frankly, the only thing that matters is getting into the playoffs. As we've seen in the past few years, seeding means nothing. If you start getting worked up about these regular season games like this, then you might want to have your heart checked because you'll give yourself a coronary.

I think this may have been Beau's best game as a Penguin. He did a lot of little things right, and it looks like he's starting to mesh with Geno and Neal - he did a great job of anticipating where they would be and hitting them with perfect - and not always easy - passes.

Gotta say, hell of a job by the team, coaches included, after one of the worst periods of hockey you could possibly play.

Beau Bennett is ready for the big time. What a performance and what a back checker he is. He'll be scary good soon.
Crosby. Not else needs to be said really.
Malkin with tremendous work ethic all game.
Great job to tighten things up and to calm down after the first.

That being said, this team still has big problems on defense. Giving up tons of goals is now the normal for this team. Can't play like this and win in the playoffs.

And Engo should be the scratch from now on. Just a horrible decision by Bylsma to play him for Despres. There is no reason for it and nothing can be said to rationalize it anymore. Engo was awful tonight and barely played. Its ridiculous that Despres keeps getting benched.
