Not at all. The question would be how quickly Bylsma would turn to Vokoun if Fleury struggles early in the playoffs. At any rate, it's nice to finally have two capable goaltenders. In 1991 and 1992, the Pens got major contributions from their backup goaltenders, and Wregget actually carried the bulk of the work in 1995 and 1996 while Barrasso had a string of odd injuries.

Well, he did have a couple of really bad games in a row there...but they played awful defense in those games too. In the past 5 periods he has allowed 1 goal so lets hope he stays hot. I'm not suggesting he is good enough to challenge Fleury for the starting job, but old wily veterans typically find a way to win games down the stretch. I think he'll be a solid if unspectacular contributor, which is all they need him to be.

If he is on, he shoudl definitely be challenging Fleury very tightly. If he's not...Pens are scoring about 4 goals a game, so...yeah!

I didn't think he looked as solid in the Philly game as he was earlier in the season. He didn't let any pucks in, which is the good thing, but I've seen him floundering around on his belly too much for my liking during his struggling spree. He never really got tested last night so it's hard to tell if he's over that or not.

By far the biggest concern for the stretch and playoffs. Again, Tanner Glass looked absolutely inept with the puck. He makes Adams look skilled.

Team D is something that is a mindset, but I am not sure that the line's struggles can be tied to a mindset or confidence. I just think the two wings on that line have ZERO ability with the puck, and that results in them being pinned too often in our zone.

Who would you like to replace Glass?

In 1992 Wregget played 40 minutes in the playoffs giving up 4 goals. Hardly a major contribution
