They looked hilarious from the upper deck raining out onto the ice

my local ECHL team does a Teddy Bear Toss night where as soon as the home team scores the first goal you throw a stuffed animal onto the ice. it is absolutely hysterical every time. sadly one year they were shut out and we had to just toss them after the game. and yes, the bears are donated to a local children's hospital.

I think every team that participates in the Teddy Bear Toss is shutout at least once. Its like a right of passage. Happend to us here.

I was in Vegas for New Years and went to a Wranglers game (ECHL team) and they had fake snow inside the arena at different times and called it their Winter Classic. They even had a bunch of parodies about the NHL being on strike. We had a good time and it was amazing how much creativity some of these minor league teams put into the entertainment value.

A word of warning: I seem to recall that Lt. Dish was very eager to get her hands on a sock monkey and, judging from the picture she posted, she isn’t afraid of a knock-down-drag-out fight to get one.
