Jeffrey was wide open, if he slid it to him, it's probably a goal. But you can't complain about Neal shooting, he's the shooter.

Sure, but in this case he should definitely have passed.

We struggle when a pk skates at the player with the puck.

imagine that, a pk that actually pressures instead of sitting back in a retarded passive box with crappy forwards like tanner glass who are afraid to block shots

Pens won't come close in this game unless they can get better on faceoffs. Embarassing effort in the faceoff circle.

Boston is simply a better team. They are very well rounded. The Pens are totally one dimensional. A team with a good offense and good defense will completely outclass the Pens the way the Bruins are.

More of the same in front of the Pens' net. Fleury has no chance when players are given free reign to screen him and are left wide open in front of him.

I see that this is another game where the offense will have to score 7 goals to win

Two horrendous plays on defense, one by Orpik again not doing anything to move a guy in front and only adding to the screen and Eaton for some reason behind the net when Seguin was wide open in front for an easy goal.

Both goals were easily preventable by competent play. Just need to Mae no more stupid mistakes and grow a set if you are Orpik.

Offense though was Tough to watch.

It would be nice to have Malkin in the lineup to make the Chara matchup harder.

I don't know...of course, it stinks the Pens are down 2-0, but I wouldn't say they played a horrible period. They limited the Bruins' shots and chances and had some really good chances of their own. What I take from the game so far...

1.) As we all know, the PK isn't good enough. Sure, the penalty was a stupid one, but those are going to happen and you need to be able to count on the PK to bail you out when they do happen.

2.) Again confirming widely held beliefs on here, the Pens don't get enough offensively or defensively out of their bottom six. The Bruins' four lines almost seem completely interchangeable.

I agree with your first sentence. I think how Shero approaches the deadline will be vital; he can't afford to sit on his hands again as he did last season.

Pens were coming on a little in the 2nd half and ended with 11 shots in the period. This game is far from over.

I'm really worried about our PK, though. We shouldn't be this bad.
