They are near the top of the Conference. They've proven they can win.

Thanks for coming out.

what's the issue here? the pens gave up an infinite amount of goals for weeks. 2 solid games, and a "hater" starts to come around instead of doing the typical LGP, "defend your post until you die" schtick. if fleury plays 2 good games in a row, can someone bring the snark if you start complimenting him?

Caps lose badly at home again. A few more stinkers like this, and 10 dollar scalped NHL tickets are coming back for me...

This game really reminded me of the SCF against the Red Wings when the Pens eventually won. They keep controlling the pace and controlling the pace and then eventually just broke through in a huge way.

Sutter, you are the ******* man!!!!

I applaud the Pens for sticking with it all night. They knew what they were doing and it was just a matter of time.

No because I have said many times that Fleury has played solidly only to regress back to the penchant for weak goals.

My posting on Fleury is in response to those that blame EVERYTHING on the defense. My position is that the goalie leaks and the team D loses structure.

Are you HH's big brother. He gets a lot of credit for negativity. He can take some stick for it too.

I just like to see cheap NHL games - even if it means sitting through their monster truck announcer and fans who oooohhh and aaauuugh every time the puck goes anywhere near their oppoenents net.

I love how a night where Fleury has a .875 you guys think is a massive win for the "Fleury is a good goaltender" side

Oh well, what else can I expect from people who don't understand.

Pens played well the whole game pretty much.

PK and depth need some upgrades and I hope Shero fixes that.

Considering goaltending is not really a problem not sure why anyone is obsessing on that right now.

I looked at my dad about halfway through the 3rd period and said "this is the best game we've played all season - working harder than we have all year and playing smarter than we have all year"

So glad it paid off for them

We really played a near perfect game. 2 bad mistakes i thought the whole game - the first being on their 2nd goal and the other one being in the 2nd period and Fleury made a good save.

PK - maybe Glass should have cheated to Chara to avoid him getting off the boomer but meh
