From Elias: The Penguins extended their winning streak to seven games with a 3-1 victory at Toronto, after trailing 1-0 entering the third period. That was a virtual reprise of the script for the Penguins' home-ice win against the Bruins on Tuesday. Pittsburgh outscored Boston 3-0 in the third period of that game, having trailed 2-0 at the end of the second period. The Penguins are the first team in NHL history to win consecutive regular-season games in regulation time after trailing while being shut out entering the third period in each game.
