He'll never pass Kip Miller on the list.

Gary Roberts beat the snot out of the creators of that list, then ate the list. Now he's #1. If you contest his rightful place, he'll stare at you until you spontaneously combust.

(can make a case to switch 3/4 if you really wanted to, especially if you believe staying healthy is a skill). No one else broaches that long-standing peak from 5 on down...no one has gotten into the "less discuss it" territory for #2 yet. If anyone gets near #1, we will have celebrated many Stanley Cups, I would think, in the mean time...
This, Crosby is still behind Jagr at the moment. He will pass him someday though.

If Crosby lifts the cup say, 3+ times, you'd have to consider him for the GOAT to put on a Penguins sweater.

Crosby needs to win 3 cups and save the Pens multiple times and become owner...then maybe...but really no.

I guess it depends on how you view them.
From a talent standpoint, I don't think that Crosby is a "better" player or ever will be, no matter how many Cups he win. Cups don't have a 1:1 correlation with talent or ability.
But if he wins 5 Cups or something, he obviously achieved the most in the uniform.

He's no Chris Kunitz.
Scrub.
Or no Pascal Dupuis. I mean come on Sid, you have the least amount of goals scored on your line. You really need to step up your game or this team is going nowhere fast.

If Crosby wins 5 cups, Lemiuex will have 7

Crosby really only had 1 bad, misdiagnosed injury that kept him out for an extended period of time. Other than that I think Malkin has been a lot more injury prone. Also, I'd personally put Crosby at number 2 right now.. definitely by the end of his career

He's not really all that close to #2 right now to be honest...there's a pretty sizable gap between him and Jagr...whether anyone wants to admit that or not...
