They're getting on a nice run. Not talking about the eight game win streak. Only four goals allowed in the last four games. :thumb: They were struggling to just give up that few in one game for a little while there. Hopefully that's the last of that ugliness we'll see from this bunch. The next challenge is going to be maintaining this once they get Malkin back.

What Godric said. :pop:

The defense is looking much better, and Fleury and Vokoun have looked calm and poised in goal over the past 4 games. Things are looking up, let's just hope they don't revert back to pond hockey when Malkin returns.

Yeah, the Rangers are probably going to end up buying him out. They won't buy out Nash...they gave up way too much for him. The paper champs are really not a good hockey team.

From a production standpoint, they can't really be upset with Nash. Richards and Gaborik are the guys that are letting them down.

Richards was a typical pre-2004 lockout Rangers move. Pay a premium for a guy's downside years. They had been doing well in recent years building teams from homegrown talent too.

Roman Hamrlik has seen better days. He looks old and slow.
Callahan was the only one that gave a crap today and Lundy.

Hamrlik was picked up on waivers at the same time Marc Staal became a cyclops. Was really a desperation move.

They said Hamrlik was on their radar and were thinking of claiming him even before Staal's injury. I'm pretty sure Bob McKenzie reported that.

He took that really bad tripping penalty... Torts may have been sending him a msg after that.

He is absolutely the most overrated player I can remember. After Tampa won the Cup, he was talked about in glowing terms for years while he delivered mediocre numbers. I knew when the Rangers signed him that this would end in a train wreck.

Was at the game. Fleury was solid. "Faced" very little, except a scoring chance from Orpik's..... :P

I still believe that this team was panicky because he was panicky, but at this point I don't care. They are playing very well.

Big test tomorrow. Bruins will be angry. I can't wait to be there. Tuesday as well against the Caps. A big 5 day, 3 game trip. Great start.

That's a good description of him when he is off his game.
