I would expect Eaton's minutes to shorten going into the playoffs, but not because of him being "on the verge of getting beat" but instead to the natural phenomenon of benches getting shorter.

I thought Martin and Orpik played very well yesterday. Orpik redeemed himself nicely from the 1st period delay of game mind cramp.

I disagree (with Vitale) that his goal was luck. The dude earned that goal with hustle. If he somehow develops hands (similar to how Dupes has improved) he could be deadly. Always looks like the fastest guy on the ice by a large margin and a non-stop motor.

This. I'm amazed at how often he beats defenders flying down the side boards. His hands aren't really terrible, as I've noticed his puck possession (especially during the aforementioned rushes). Just needs a bit of a scoring touch (and of course, having Tanner Glass on your line isn't exactly a recipe for goals).

He's earned 3-4 goals based on his hustle... Hard to crash the net when the puck never gets there...

There are two other players on this team that would have read those two plays that way AND had the touch to make those passes. They would be Malkin and Crosby.

Yep. Playmaking IQ beyond anyone else on the team, except maybe Letang.

I'm a huge fan. I'm sure he'll have a drop in form for a period of games, but the effort and attitude are there.

I know I'm in the minority, but the "teens" line (15 -18-19) hasn't really bothered me that much. Not any sustained pressure, but they've created a few chances and do not give up much in their own end.

Obviously, I can't wait to see a few games with Malkin, Neal, and Bennett.

Not sure if the sarcasm meter is working on this one. However, while I have been a little hard on Glass to date, your reference to him having #10 definitely (and illogically I admit) rings true for me. Ron Francis was/is/forever will be my favorite player, and seeing Glass wear #10 sort of

Yeah, I'm pretty indifferent to Glass, but seeing that 10 is a little... I am disapprove.
