Never had noticed. Thanks!
Highlight is already up on the Podcast section of the Pens web site. It's already on my phone as my new ringtone.

Just watched NBCSports Crossover for the first and last time. Beadle should go back to talking about whatever it was she talked about before hockey.

1st home game I've been to this season, end of the pk on Cookies double minor was most electricity I've felt in the new building, and that was before the goal blew the roof off the place. Just plain awesome.

I was at the game tonight and I've never heard the arena get as loud as it did in the moments towards the end of the kill leading up to the goal by Niskanen. It was completely deafening and electric, my ears are still ringing.
Great win, but I think this streak needs cranked up to 11.

It played both games this weekend and tonight. It's a good use of a promo in a video, especially since so many were released back into the wild.....

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins
And the #Pens are the first team in @NHL history to have a winning streak of at least 10 games in three consecutive seasons!

Yeah, I was going to start a thread about the crowd's reaction to the Cooke penalty kill and subsequent build-up to the goal. Our home crowds get a lot of flack, some deserved, but that was a spectacle to see even on TV. Round of applause, good sir!

I thought the same thing. But also that is very impressive. Win streaks that long just arent normal.

The one 2 years ago was when Malkin was out and we had 24/7.
Good times.

The mentality has changed. The team has played several games in arow now in a playoff style. Cudos to everyone. Including the coaches.
Now, the big question is can this team lock it down like this when they have Sid, Geno, Neal, and Letang all in the lineup?
I agree, I am cautiously optimistic. This team looks tough to beat.

It was electric. Not to be a buzzkill but I was at the game tonight and the first at home game against the Bruins. I'd say that 3 goals scored in the final < 7 minutes was was just insane. I lost my ****.

I just saw that tonight. Too cute. I still have my sock monkey, I wanted to throw it but I was behind the goal/netting. I've been lucky this season, the few games I've been to have been good ones.

Soooo..... We haven't won a cup since going on 10 game streaks during each season since?
Useless stat? or Meaningful number? Let's hope it is useless. Peaking early blows.

I thought we had some pretty sweet streaks at the beginning of 2009-10 (lots of shootouts?) and when Bylsma and Kunitz showed up in 2009 (maybe it was road wins).
