He has been very quiet lately. Also,
Any concerns with how slow Eaton seems? He gets
Beat a lot to the corners. Not complaining
Just curious if it is a concern?

not really concerned. Neal isn't a guy who can carry the offense himself. He needs someone to get him the puck, and draw a defender off of him. Malkin isn't here to do that, and he's struggling. Similarly, our PK has cooled off in large part to injuries, too. I'm not sure there is any more to read into it that that.

Nah, Neal is fine. Doesn't have his center, that's all.

In all honesty, i haven't seen too many wingers with playmaking skills such as Beau.
Actually sort of surprised he didn't develop as a center with that particular skill set.

In the games that Neal plays the Penguins have a 57% winning percentage. In the game that he doesn't play the Pens have 83% winning percentage. In the games that Neal plays and Malkin doesn't play pens have 96% winning percentage.

No reason to be concerned about Neal. He's not a player that creates his own chances as much as he works off of guys that do. When Malkin is around, Neal is able to slip into those soft spots around the slot and get chances or have more room on the rush to rip shots. I saw HCDB tossed him out there with Crosby ES a couple times, probably hoping to get him jump started. Not going to see much of that because that top line has been too good to break up.
No reason to be concerned with Eaton. He's doing exactly what he always has. Maybe a bit slower, but then he is a solid 3rd pairing D with whom you know what you are going to get night in, night out. Not as good as some of the Pens younger D who sit, but then not as erratic either.

The only thing that's alarming with Neal, is that if Malkin goes down with an injury you're losing two players.

Yet in the 5 games we played without Geno the team has a 1.00 goals against average.

Keep Neal away from Jeffrey. Wasn't he Neal's center for his first season here, when he had 1 goal in 20 games? I'd let Sutter center that line.
