Trade Deadline Possibilities:
Does anyone believe that Shero would be willing to trade Beau Bennett or Simon Despres for a veteran UFA? I don't believe he would.
I don't see the Penguins moving any roster players except maybe Kennedy and I don't think he would have any value. Joe Morrow and Derrick Pouliot are probably the only "untouchable" prospects.
Assets:
Scott Harrington is probably the most valuable trade bait the Penguins have after Pouliot and Morrow. Harrington has intelligence and other "intangibles" coming out the wazoo and I think a lot of people have him becoming a really solid guy in his career.
Needs:
Stop Boston from getting Iginla

Forward Depth -
A top 6 guy to bump Dupuis down which would make him more available on the PK and add some skill to the bottom 6 OR an upgrade over Glass/Adams because imo they are no where near cup quality components on the 4th line... and Jeffery is terrible
Defensive Defenseman -
With the Penguins on a 10 game winning streak and the goals against coming down I can't help but think this isn't such a need as it was seen in FEB. I personally have no issue with Despres getting top 4 minutes in the playoffs. I believe he is a horse.
Possible Targets:
Iginla:
I'd have no problem with Shero pulling the trigger on Harrington + 1st rd pick for Iginla. Calgary's D prospects are pretty much garbage from what I know. However I still don't see Calgary trading Iginla without a solid roster player coming back and Kennedy isn't the answer.
Smid/Regehr:
Smid probably isn't going to get moved but a player in his mold would be perfect for this team. Regehr might be that guy. Buffalo would probably want a pick/prospect, a 2nd rounder?
Will Shero make a move at the Deadline at all? Will he stand pat?
