No they haven't. They just worked the powerplay together. Different partners for every other aspect of the game.

I voted Pool Party...just because. I like the sound of it. I could see them making it to the finals but losing to Chicago or Anaheim, though. Both those teams worry me, especially Chicago.

I don't see anyone in the east standing in the way of the Pens. The Pens most formidable opponent is themselves, and we know the story here. Hopefully the last 3 years have taught them some lessons.

I don't have anything to back it up, but I really feel like with the new wave of talent (Despres, Bennett, the other D prospects) that its going to be very hard to NOT win another cup in the next 3 seasons.

Looking at the East this year...so many average teams with serious flaws. I think we will be fine vs Boston in a 7 game series as long as we don't play into their toughness junk. We could really win the East this year as long as the Defense stays solid. Still worried about the crease clearing, and the lack off bottom 6 scoring (after Sutter).

Kennedy, Glass, Adams are really concerning me.

I'm going to officially say Eastern Conference Lost, Bylsma keeps his job obviously... =/

I think we should wait til the deadline is over to see where some big trades happen.

I believe Shero will improve the team enough to do it, and, if we play as defensively focused as we have lately, then it's on. I agree with lmb on all her points, too, except I'd worry more about the Ducks.

I would still like another big defensive D-man, but they sure have lowered their Goals Against Average in the past 10 games. Hope the focus continues. Despres looks very good out there. And there seems to be some real coaching / adjustment taking place in-game.

Two weeks ago, I would have said getting to the ECF would be exceeding expectations. Now, I'm beginning to think they have a real shot at all the marbles. It may all come down to "getting the Geno out of the bottle".

I think the Bruins are in the same class as the Ducks and Hawks, as are the Pens. I think those are the clear cut best 4 in the game though. The Habs are playing over their heads and are not likely a real threat. Part of me hopes the Sens just win it all though.

I feel with our current roster our chances are as good as anyone. I put it in Sheros hands tip the scales in our favor with a move or 2.

Most the least importance.
1. top 4 defenceman (a guy to pair with letang who plays a physical defenisve game) Smid type
2. Bottom 6 forward (a PK specialist, grinder, tough player) Morrow, Ott maybe even Talbot type
3. Top 6 upgrade ( the roster changes would be endless since any forward you to move to the 3rd line would give Sutter a better wing) Clowe, MacAuthur, Iginla

I am kinda hoping for Iginla right now since another poster suggested getting Iginla is addition by subtraction. Adding him to the Pens line up and subtracting him from the Bruins line up. (I feel they are our biggest concerns come playoff time)

If we can't get Iggy, then Clowe is a great option. He can play top line or 3rd line, gives you a ton of options come playoffs and if injuries occure.

I can't vote on the poll until after the trade deadline. But i am such a homer i will vote pool party either way, since i feel i will jinx the team if i don't believe.
