As far as the respect for other players goes, what if any respect that was left "officially" died with the instigator rule. While it's nice to hear the bit about how players supposedly respected each other more back in the older days, that is not really true. Sounds nice, but no so accurate.

I believe this had nothing to do with respect. You make a hit there if he would have got there soon enough... it might have been late had he done it there. I'm not saying you throw an elbow or you hit him in the head but you make a hit for your team.

That's Sutton's thing though, Ribiero's would be "Are you a guru?" And the obvious most logical answer is because Ribiero is coming to the Pens and he doesn't want to hurt his future teammate
