"Her name is not Lemieux...it's Asselin..." Um, OK. That was so cute, though.

I just loved this.

TBH, this version is 100x clearer than the original broadcast I saw, since I was losing my mind in a jam-packed Rathskellar at PSU. I remember yelling, "Jimmy Paek! Jimmy Paek! Jimmy Paek!" I was a bit under the influence.

the skellar?? I can only imagine how that went..

:fist: I'm sure you can...just insane. A dream come true. After the '89 POs, it was fun seeing our Flyers-fan friends all bitter, too (neither team's fans had any gloating to do in '90).

I also remember unsuccessfully trying to talk a guy into giving me his Moe Mantha jersey. Memories...misty, Rolling Rock-colored memories... :)

Great video! Thanks for posting it.

I still remember that playoff run. Going to the Civic Arena in shorts, the noise inside so loud my chest hurt, the chant of "Let's Go Pens!" drowning out the PA and speaker system playing "The Boys of Winter" as players took the ice.

Unforgettable.
