I see Gionta ride Kennedy but I hardly see anything overtly malicious. Unless something was said, or if the Pens are alluding to him pushing TK, it looks like a fluke accident to me.

Apparently there is, just read the 1st page of the GDT.

...i'll save you the time, it's because he hits and plays the PK.

Vitale's faceoff prowess and energy don't trump that.

I'm pretty sure we could slide Sid into the odd PK shift if Glass is out. Heck I'd even give Vitale his own chance, the guy seems to win the odd faceoff too. :)

Oh well, DB is set in his ways.

i still don't see much of anything out of the ordinary there on a play like that.

Watch Gionta's leg. Puts it in a position where TK can literally do nothing to avoid Fleury

No doubt Gionta ran Kennedy into Fleury.

i mean...it's not like it's suspendable or anything, but it's dirty pool to lean guys into their own goalie

Yeah, I was just wondering. Ultimately, it will probably not be a game changing decision at any point, it just makes you wondered bc most of the time Bylsma is an offensive minded guy.

That was a horrible icing by Jeffrey. He better win this draw.

Gionta is trying to stop and TK is backchecking hard and winds up running into MAF. It's a hockey play and nothing dirty at all.

Adding Morrow, moving Beau to 4th line hell and subtracting Vitale = a much slower team.

TK was stopping. Would've stopped if Gionta didn't hit him.

Anyone else think that Halpern could have been that 4th line guy for us? Great on faceoffs and defensive play.

He ties up with him, I hardly think he was calculating the trajectory of Kenndy's possible fall.

There's guys that play the Pens a lot over the years who you start to develop a strong hatred towards. Gionta has been and is now even more of a **** IMHO.

yeah, gionta is no stranger to the goal crease. he meant to direct TK into fleury. it's not the dirtiest thing i've ever seen, but it wasn't a fluke either
