Lieutenant, drop and give me 20 for mentioning that name that is not to be mentioned!!!!! I just wretched!!! :)

I did it, Orlando...35, in fact! Except they were jumping jacks, not pushups. I thought jumping jacks fit the occasion better. And they're easier. So much energy right now!

This is just like with Hossa! (That name's OK, right?) STEALTH, Shero.

Everything had him going to BOS. It was all over HF. One dude with a brand new account came on the Pens' board and said Jarome was coming to PIT and to trust him. Accusations of trolling and account/avatar bets ensued. LOL.

Ray Shero has an in person meeting tomorrow with Brendan Shannahan for an incident occurred tonight. He is under review for a sudden, unexpected, blindside hit to the Boston Bruins.

I imagine this is what Shero was like when Boston was trying to finalize the deal

A stunning coup! Almost completely unbelievable! Shero must be as surprised as we are.

Holy frikin' S*@t!! I just logged in one more time before hitting the sack, and I had to double check to make sure that it wasn't April fools day yet. UN-FRICKIN-BELIEVABLE!! Shero has magic powers and I will nary speak another bad word about him ever again.

Couple of thoughts..
I really hope Kennedy isn't the one to get shafted in this scenario. He's been playing great lately and has always played great in the playoffs. I really hope it's not bennet either, but I can't see him anywhere but the third or maybe forth line from here on out. Jeffery might have to sit, but probably should be retained. Good depth. Glass should probably be the one to get pushed out at this point, but then there's the whole PK thing.. not that he adds a WHOLE lot there either. But we know how DB loves his PK guys. Can either Morrow, Iginla or even Murray play PK?

And by the time I wake up tomorrow, I'm sure this thread will be 35 pages long..

Well done, Lieutenant. You won't be docked for mentioning Hossa. I have no problem with what he did. He had to live with watching the Cup get hoisted, that was the ultimate revenge.

I love that we have a GM/ownership group that sees what the potential of this team is and is going for the jugular. Certainly no pressure on them to win it all now, right? :scared:

DontToewsMeBro wrote:So the Flames lose Iginla for ~10 games (chances are he resigns with them next season) and get 2 decent prospects and a 1st rounder in the deal...not the best they could do by any stretch but beats nothing from a purely economical standpoint.

from NHL.com:
Feaster also said it was a difficult decision to make, but it became a necessity when the general manager realized that he could not sign Iginla, an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, to an extension.

I don't even look at this as Pressure for the Pens to win. I just look at this as an opportunity.

If the Pens lose and say they don't even make it to the finals, I will still be tremendously happy since i know our GM will LITERALLY DO ANYTHING TO WIN.
