This team has the most pressure to win out of any team since Colorado in like 2004...should be a wild ride this spring, boys.

I'm not a huge fan of the Neal-Malkin-Iginla line

if anything, I'd go Dupuis-Crosby-Iginla and Kunitz-Malkin-Neal

but I think we're going to see Kunitz-Crosby-Iginla and Malkin/Neal playing with one of Dupuis/Morrow....

but there is so much flexibility and talent that we'll see plenty of different line combos throughout games with guys moving up and down the lineup and Malkin/Crosby double shifting

Damon Amendolara ‏@DAonCBS 8m
Flames suggest Iggy picked Pens. GM: "In this instance, the deal that we consummated, this is where the player was prepared to waive for."

Eric Duhatschek ‏@eduhatschek 23m
Actually, Feaster just confirmed that; he needed input from "the player" and "the player" picked Pittsburgh. Wow.

There's plenty of time for tinkering too, which is nice.

I can get on board with

14-87-12
10-71-18
24-16-9
27-17-48

I'd just like to thank fellow Williams Valley Jr./Sr. HS alumnus Jay Feaster for this gift to us. He apparently reads the newsletter I keep sending him.

So the Flames lose Iginla for ~10 games (chances are he resigns with them next season) and get 2 decent prospects and a 1st rounder in the deal...not the best they could do by any stretch but beats nothing from a purely economical standpoint.

It'd be sick if Iggy worked with Crosby and Duper so we could reunite Malkin's line from last year.

I'll be honest....

would anyone be shocked to see Shero go for a top DMan to pair with Letang?

Letang - trade
Orpik - Martin
Murray - Niskanan

Eaton - Engelland - Bortuzzo

Despres (probably sent down barring injuries)

With the Pens clearly going all in for thie year, I would not be shocked to see Shero go for another top D-Man to pair with Letang
