its pretty clear from listening to Feaster's press conference they went to iginla and he had his choice and picked pittsburgh and refused to go to the others. it sounds like he basically forced their hand to me.

this is just insane, complete madness really. especially when all the media reported iggy to the bruins was a done deal

I'd be shocked if he re-signed there. I'd put it at 60-1 or worse.

my son just came firing into my office flipping out... dad...we just got iginla. The last few nights I've been telling him no way Iginla is coming after the Morrow deal. Where do you put him if he shows up after the Morrow deal. I said, Boston needed a player like Iginla, and we needed a player like Morrow. Now we got them both.

Shero is amazing at what he does. !

Gonna have to send Bennett and Despres back down again until 4/3... no sense in losing anybody. Solid depth even if in the case of injury. 3 capable extra forwards, 3 capable extra D

I dont get the hatred.... if they trade him for a 3rd round pick or soo, thats fine...

but I'd keep him.... he is a great 4th line guy who will push Cooke for his spot on the 3rd line

the competition for a spot on the 4th line will have guys busting their asses every shift not to lose their spot for next game

Oddly enough I think I'm more happy that Boston didn't get him than happy that we got him.

I don't know what to do...should I laugh? Cry tears of joy? Cry just to cry? Drink? Run around my block? What? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I read recently (I think in the Trib) that Shero talked to the leaders on the team (Sid, Geno, et al) to make sure that bringing in Morrow wouldn't mess with the chemistry in the room. So, he'd have asked them about this, no? I don't know why I'm asking this. I guess I feel better if the guys approved this (not that I feel bad. I'm nervous with excitement!) But Shero's the boss; the boys work for him...

YOU GUIZE, I'm losing my MIND!!!

1993....top to bottom, the most stacked team we ever had, no? I'll never forget David Volek as long as I live. All that promise. The incredible streak...heartbreak. Here we are 20 (jeebus) years later. Exorcise that demon, if only for me, Sid, Geno, Jarome...

TBH, I didn't think for one moment that we'd even try really hard to get him. Seriously.
