I think it all depends on whether he got a good nights sleep last night.

I'm thinking that the Pens most likely sent a high end car service to pick him up at the airport last night, another one to fetch his bags so he didn't have to wait. Made sure that he stayed in the best hotel room they could find. (Westin William Penn Presidential Suite?) and made sure that he had exactly what he wanted for breakfast delivered to his room.

You can be assured that the Pens took care of every detail they could in the last 18 hours.

You can rest assured that Jarome is excited and wants nothing more than to pull that new Black and Gold sweater on.

I say he 'goes' today. Not for 20 minutes mind you, but he pulls a number of shifts for sure.

At least that's MHO.

If you were Iginla, wouldn't you be "raring to go"?

Do the pens have to make a roster move to add him and if so what time does it have to be done by?

Iginla, iirc, is doing a press conference at 11:00AM. Im 99% sure hes not playing today. if it were a 7:30 game, maybe, but not a 1:00 game.

Can't they just replace that PC with a first period goal and a potash interview?

I didn't realize his full name is Jerome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla. That puts him in the running with many Samoans for name length.

Does anyone know if Nigerians typically have long names like that? I don't think so, as I know maybe 3 people from there (n=small, so IDK)

Maybe his parents got carried away promising everyone they'd name their kid after them? I'm thinking of the "Dick Van Dyke Show" episode where Richie finds out his middle name is Rosebud (acronym of Robert, Oscar, Sam, Edward, Benjamin, Ulysses, and David).

It could be that the supporters of the Pittsburgh Penguins have to wait a little longer before seeing the work of Jarome Iginla. The veteran striker made his arrival at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh Saturday morning. He might not be in uniform against the New York Islanders in the evening. Traded by the Calgary Flames Wednesday late evening, the Canadien had problems with immigration. The case was settled on Friday and the star player was able to leave Calgary.

Martin injured Paul Martin could also miss the game on Saturday night. The 32 year old defender did take part in the training session on Friday. "He was wounded in the upper body", said Bylsma. "His health will be reviewed. I can not tell you more. "
