Is it wrong that I want a penalty so we can see Murray clear the crease?

Sutter Cooke Dupuis is a solid third line.

He was on the opposite side of the crease on Malkin's goal with two Jets beside him. Morrow did his job there by drawing attention and going to the net. It won't show up in the stat sheet but was a reason of Malkin being free.

He's certainly doing his thing, but my point is that he seems like he's not real sure what to do at times when Malkin and Neal are doing their thing. But as Del said, those two aren't the easiest guys to follow after only a couple of days. Looking better those last couple of shifts though.

This is something that is going to take time. We all know what Morrow is capable of, he will figure it out soon enough.

Who is actually the #7 seed if it wasn't for the NHL playoff format.

Let's not get too giddy.

Agree completely. Malkin and Neal play a very disjointed, weaving style on that line which I think will allow Morrow to play in front of the net and behind it. Fitting him perfectly. :thumb:

So Kunitz, Crosby, Iginla. Wow.

And Dupuis with Cooke and Sutter. Still awesome.

Yeah so many games to play. We've accomplished nothing yet. This season is all about the postseason.

Yeah, tbh the 8th seed is probably more talented than the Jets.

13 win run; up 2-0; MAF, Letang and Iginla not the lineup.

Yeah......so.....that seems like a good situation.

Lol he will eventually. Crosby, Dupuis and Kunitz may start when Iginla arrives, but that's not how things are going to end up. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know hockey. You don't keep Dupuis with Crosby when Iginla is sitting on the bench.

I like Errey's description. Morrow doesn't want the puck in the offensive zone; he wants to get to the net and go to work.

Sutter Cooke Morrow would also work, especially for the next 4 games. It gives Morrow a chance to adjust & gives Iggy the chance to play with Malkin. The best line in hockey should remain that. To mess with all the lines while on a 13 game streak...... well, its a good excuse if you lose.
