No transition game at all? Hm, whatever could be the reason for that?

Talk about a roller coaster ride. At the top at the start of the period, and near the bottom now.

Depressing to say the least.

We'd obliterate them with Martin and Letang in the lineup.

A rather lifeless first period.

Long time for Sid to be out. It's obviously not just a chipped tooth.

Hopefully not a dislocated jaw or something extreme...or......... Lynch Orpik

Perhaps they had to call in a dentist to work inside da mouff.

Pens will be putting a lot of people on IR while they acquire a few more team captains.

Just saw the replay on Sid's puck to the face. Looked like he was in serious pain there.

Looked ugly.

For those who think Bettman is conspiring to help the Penguins win Cup, they haven't had a PP in 88 minutes. Refs aren't in on it, I guess.

Yeah, how long does it take to sew a few stitches! :scared:

Perhaps they had to call in a dentist real quick, not certain trainer can perform stitches and dental work. Not certain if they're allowed.

I'm guessing they're making absolutely sure he's not concussed. They're going to be extra cautious with anything involving Sid's head.

Could have been getting stitched up and then getting ice.

We've actually lost more than we gained over the past week. Fleury, Sid, Letang, Martin.

Man... only thing that can derail this team is injuries and suddenly, Martin, Letang and Crosby.

Any normal team would be dead but that's just the Pens first wave of stars. Please be alright sid.

I swear god just looked down, saw the Pens roster and said, "Nope".
