This has a Lemieux-esq feel to it. Down but not out in the scoring race, coming back from injury. 3 or 4 points is not out of the question.

Unfortunately, no go for Saturday, at least according to Molinari.

Timetable/target date was probably game 1 all along. Just could not confirm to media or anyone in case of infections(which can't be predicted).

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he played Saturday, but expect Wednesday as the debut.

If he is going to be back for game 1 then play your expected lineup with either Jeffrey or Vitale in at center. Al lines need to have at least one full game together

Hopefully the rest of the team shows up Saturday, with or without Crosby. :pop:

I'm kind of hoping Sid / Neal both play. Be nice to see the lines all get a tune up game

Anything that keeps Iginla away from LW is okay by me.

What's interesting is that, if Iginla gets moved to RW to play with Sid, he'll still end up getting fed lots of shots from the LW side of the slot as Sid loves to carry the puck down the right side.

Yeah, it is strange in a way. But it's one thing to drift over to the right side but it's completely another to actually play over there and execute a breakout or defensive play on your off wing.

Some people can do it. Dupuis is a prime example. But man... Iginla just looks painful over there.

Well, Dupuis is a lefty. Having the forehand along the wall helps.

Edit. Nevermind. I thought you were talking about LW and not being "off wing" in general.

Crosby at practice skating with Bennett and Jeffrey. Guess no Bennett in the playoffs barring injuries. :(

I know nothing is set yet, but I am laughing my lower backside off looking at the line combos after all the moaning and groaning in the last 18 hours.

Looks like Iginla is going to be on Sid's line. Can we put away the Bylsma pitchforks?

Well... it seems he's going to play LW on Sid's line :? I still think it has disaster written all over it.

Are you kidding? We could win the cup and there will be people upset that it means he's still around.

Good thing they didn't put 71-14-18 or we could assume by a tweet that kunitz is centering malkin and neal :scared: :scared: :scared:
